This is the upgraded perineum pad, and one difference matters more than the rest: it is the only pad with insulated sides. The PeriPla™ and ClitPla™ are conductive across the whole face. The Peri C puts the sensation exactly where the pad sits and nowhere else. The center is raised slightly to follow the natural perineum seam, and the face is slightly concave for a better fit.
This one is my daily driver — it's a really good pad.
What the pad actually does
It sits directly beneath the prostate, so the current runs exactly where you want it. But the bigger thing is mechanical: the pad becomes a pivot point. The slightest contraction of the pelvic floor rocks the probe head against the prostate — and that happens before the E-Stim is even switched on. This is the idea the whole M1 platform was built around.
PLA or TPU
Standard is rigid PLA. Tick TPU above and you get the flexible version, which adds $10 — conductive TPU costs over twice as much as PLA and takes about three times as long to print.
The TPU version flexes with you and is extremely comfortable. If you are deciding: rigid transmits the rocking motion more directly, flexible is the more comfortable thing to wear for a long session.
You need a collar to mount it
The pad locks onto an Accessory Collar, which is what holds it against you — hands free, no straps, no tape. A standard 4mm banana plug does double duty: it completes the electrical connection and locks the pad in place at the same time.
If you bought a probe with a pad on it, you already have the collar — it comes with the probe. You only need to add one if you chose None when you ordered your probe, or if this is your first PlaStim purchase.
