Step Files Only: you receive the STEP files for both connector caps — CBL-CAP-STR for a straight end and CBL-CAP-90 for a right-angle end. These are the slide-on covers that make the connection fully insulated. The cable itself is hand-built hardware — see the Patreon build guide above if you want to make your own.
4mm E-Stim Lead Cables
These are hand-built from 2mm pin stock, converted to 4mm connectors. Available in right-angle, straight, or 90°/straight combo configurations.
What makes these nice:
- Fully insulated connection — the plastic cap seats tight into PlaStim electrodes, so the only exposed metal is the contact itself
- Super slim — 8mm head diameter with the cap on. We haven't seen a slimmer 4mm lead cable anywhere.
All of our designs now use 4mm connectors. We started out using a mix of 4mm and 2mm ports, but switched to 4mm exclusively. Better initial connection, they print better, and they hold up better. No looking back.
Which style do you need? The right-angle works great for most electrodes. The modular probe heads require a straight connector on at least one lead — the 90° doesn't fit the port geometry. For those, the 90°/straight combo is the go-to: one of each per channel.
Switch 1: the 4mm input on the Switch 1 needs a straight banana — a 90° does not clear the back. The switch's 3.5mm tip/sleeve jack takes a regular e-stim cable; those two 4mm ends are the two zones you are switching. A typical hookup is two cables: one 90°/straight from the box (90 on a ring, straight into the switch), and a second cable from the switch's 3.5mm jack out to the two zones. They cascade the same way — a straight banana from one switch into the next.
Cable connector: Available in 3.5mm or 2.5mm T/R audio jack. Most e-stim boxes on the market use 3.5mm — if you're not sure, that's probably what you need. The 2.5mm is for Coyote users. The cable that plugs into the Switch 1's 3.5mm jack is a 3.5mm tip/sleeve on that end, regardless of box.
The caps: there are two, one per end type. CBL-CAP-STR is the vertical cap, used where the wire leaves the connector in line with the pin (a straight end). CBL-CAP-90 is the right-angle cap, where the wire turns out the side. Both are non-conductive covers, and both STEP files come with the Step Files Only option above.

Heads up: These are handmade, so they won't always come out perfectly straight or a perfect 90° — but they're usually very close. They're durable, but consider them as consumables, they may need replacing.
