I have printed this, but not tested, so who knows, maybe it will draw blood, maybe the tpu will collapse , who knows.
Before testing, I was told Wifey that I wasn't sure I wanted to test it, and got ZERO sympathy.
The starting sensation is sharper with those tips, but it is actually pretty nice. As I grew into it, the "pokies" did not flex side to side, and each one of those 14 pressed firmly into my flesh.
The spikes aren't just surface contact, they're pushing stimulation into tissue. The sensation felt different, I believe the pokies were pressing and stimming some nerves deeper than the grow ring, especially near the urethra. I used the Switch - 1 to change the electrode size on the other end of the channel. If the other electrode has a large surface area, you can feel the pokies stronger.
The finish was spectacular. I left it in place until things calmed down. After a quick check for blood (there was none), I was left with 14 lovely "meat marks" as a parting gift.
This will not be a daily driver, but on special occasions this one is a keeper.
This tpu offers excellent conductivity, and remains flexible. Over flexing will degrade this ring. The TPU is very durable, but the long term durability of the grow fingers is not yet known, but have held up great so far in testing.
The price reflects the filament cost (over 2x conductive tpu), print time (3x longer), and print failure rate.
