The R1 Ring's insulated shell means only the inner conductive band delivers sensation. The rest of the ring can contact your leg, your hand, or anywhere else without consequence. Sensation stays exactly where you positioned it, even as things shift.

 

The competition sizes in 5mm increments. We don't. Available in 2mm steps from 25–65mm and 1mm steps from 30–45mm, you get a ring sized to you — not the closest available option.

Generally, balanced surface area across the same channel produces the most even sensation along the electrode path. When one electrode is significantly smaller, intensity tends to concentrate there — not necessarily a bad thing, and actually a useful tool when dialing in your experience. Other factors also influence intensity at each electrode, including nerve density of the area, skin conductivity, the type and application of your conductive gel or lube, and hydration — both of the skin and body, as overall fluid levels can affect tissue conductivity in ways that are easy to overlook.}
