M1 Probe Warnings and Safety Information

IMPORTANT NOTICE & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER – NOVELTY PRODUCT & DIGITAL FILES

This multi-part 3D-printed item (and any associated design files, such as STEP/STL files, made available for download) is provided strictly as a novelty / adult entertainment product by PlaStim. It is not a medical device, not evaluated or cleared by the FDA or any regulatory body, and makes no therapeutic, health, or safety claims of any kind.

Consumable Parts & Maintenance Requirements:

All components of this novelty item are consumable—they are subject to degradation, loosening, cracking, or failure over time due to repeated use, assembly/disassembly, exposure to lubricants, cleaners, moisture, heat, or mechanical stress. The PlaLock™ mechanism, while designed for secure engagement, will degrade with use.

  • Disassembly for Cleaning: The item must be fully disassembled before every cleaning to allow thorough access to all surfaces, grooves, and contact areas. Clean each piece separately with warm water and mild dish soap; rinse well and air-dry completely. Do not clean assembled, as trapped residues could remain.
  • Recommended Maximum Lock/Unlock Cycles: Limit assembly/disassembly (full lock/unlock cycles) to no more than 25 uses under normal conditions. Beyond this, the mechanism may loosen significantly, increasing detachment risk. Inspect closely before and after every use. Replace any loose, cracked, deformed, or unreliable parts immediately—do not continue use once degradation is noticeable.
  • Treat these parts as disposable/consumable: Print replacements as needed from the files (personal use only). Monitor for signs of fatigue and err on the side of caution.

Critical Assembly & Mechanical Risk:

The design features a PlaLock™ mechanism to secure the head. While engineered for reliable engagement, components printed in PLA or TPU and the lock can loosen, crack, or fail over time due to use.

If you choose to assemble, print, or use this novelty item in any manner (including insertable or electrical applications, all at your sole discretion and risk):

  • ALWAYS fully seat and confirm the head clicks securely into the locked position before any contact—listen/feel for a positive, firm click.
  • BEFORE EVERY use or handling, inspect all parts (printed or assembled) for cracks, deformation, loose fits, weak locking, or printing defects. Test by applying moderate pulling force; do not use if any part separates easily, feels unreliable, or shows signs of degradation.
  • Discontinue immediately at any sign of pain, unusual resistance, discomfort, irritation, or adverse reaction.
  • A detached or failed component could become lodged and require professional medical removal—seek immediate medical help if this occurs. Do not attempt forceful self-removal.

Lock Indicator

In locked possition, the triagles on the ring and base line up, and the bars lines up from the ring, base, insulator and head.

Material Notice:

Printed using PLA or TPU filament (or conductive variants), biocompatible, bio-based (PLA) or flexible thermoplastic (TPU) plastics commonly used in various applications due to their non-toxic profiles. Sanitation studies on FFF-printed PLA and similar thermoplastics (including tests with heavy bacterial contamination like E. coli and Salmonella) show that normal cleaning with warm water and dish soap effectively removes contaminants, residues, and bacteria from surfaces and layer lines, with no detectable remnants via ATP bioluminescence, protein assays, and bacterial cultures. Layer lines may even aid in retaining lubricants or conductive gel for intended novelty use.

However, consumer-grade 3D-printed PLA or TPU is not equivalent to certified medical-grade material—it may include additives/colorants/stabilizers, exhibit print-specific variations (e.g., minor imperfections from printer settings or filament batches), and lacks formal testing/certification for prolonged mucosal/internal contact under sex toy or biocompatibility standards (e.g., ISO 10993 or ISO 3533). Friction, lubricants, repeated cleaning, electrical use, or use over time could influence material behavior, including potential particle release or degradation.

Regarding Downloaded Design Files:

  • Files are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may print copies for your own private use.
  • You assume full responsibility for print quality, material choice (including PLA, TPU, or other filaments), printer calibration/settings, post-processing, assembly, modifications, and any resulting safety or performance issues.
  • PlaStim is not responsible for defects, failures, or consequences arising from third-party printing, poor print quality, material substitutions, design alterations, or improper assembly/use.

General Notices:

  • For adult use only (18+ or legal age in your jurisdiction).
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Never use if you have pacemakers, implanted devices, heart conditions, epilepsy, or other medical contraindications for electrical stimulation.
  • Use electrical components only with purpose-built, safe e-stim devices (below-waist only, low current, follow device instructions).
  • PlaStim and its owners, designers, or affiliates assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for misuse, improper assembly/printing, material behavior, personal injury, property damage, medical complications, infection risks, or any consequences arising from this novelty product or its design files.

By downloading files, printing, assembling, purchasing, or handling this novelty product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these warnings and terms in full. You accept all associated risks and release PlaStim from any and all liability
